Timbale is the first track taken from South East London based producer Persia’s forthcoming eponymous debut EP. It takes you on an immersive slo-mo house journey, blending rich, deep synth sounds with strong beats that punctuate the track, creating a warped dancehall vibe.
Combining soulful, spacey sounds with hard beats Persia says “the best way to come up with a new sound is to use influences from a wide range of music”, name checking everyone from LTJ Bukem (a fellow classically trained pianist) to A$AP Rocky as having had an influence on this current EP.
