Last year Berlin based dance duo Modeselektor teamed up with Thom Yorke for two of the tracks on their widely acclaimed Monkeytown album. The resulting songs, Shipwreck and This, were two of the stand out pieces on the album, and probably the best tunes that Yorke had provided the vocals for since Radiohead’s Reckoner.
This now has a video to accompany it, and it’s a dark scene involving a black-clad puppeteer performing a twisted marionette dance as various childhood toys seem to amp up the angst in the background. The clip is directed by Andrew Jones for FutureDeluxe and you can check out the results below…
