O Children are busy. Lead singer Tobi O’Kandi has finally sorted out his passport problems so the band can now tour abroad – today they’re preparing for a show in Bucharest – their sophomore album Apnea became available on iTunes this week, and new single Chimera follows on June 11th.

The physical release date for Apnea is June 4th and yesterday NME.com hosted an exclusive stream HERE so folks can here the tracks before they put their hands in their pockets to buy it. In amongst all this the band also play Dot to Dot Festival this weekend, taking in Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester, before returning to London where next Thursday the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen hosts the official album launch party with support from the most hyped band of the moment Savages.

The video for Chimera premiered on Vice music channel Noisey today and it depicts a lovelorn Tobi eschewing the parties he passes through as he tries to track down his missus. The video was created by Smash Collective director Chris Ranson and producer Stuart Meldrum, alongside their longtime collaborator Si Bell.
